DESCRIPTION

• Live and share the Ten Principles and philosophy of Burning Man
• Extend the Burning Man cultural movement
• Can be a Lamplighter, Drummer or Fire Dancer
• Bring the fire to BURN2 events
• Encourage and include community participation
• Participate in monthly drummings on the virtual Playa or elsewhere in virtual worlds
• Assist in processions at BURN2 events
• Participate in Lamplighter-BURN2 collaborations
• Lamplighters group collaborates very closely with BURN2 and Burning Man

DESIRED SKILLS

• No experience necessary, just a willingness to chill and have fun!
• Sense of the absurd
• Friendly
• Outgoing, likes approaching strangers
• Multi-lingual is a plus

TIME COMMITMENT

• 1-2 hours a month for drummings (attending meetings is optional for Lamplighter group members)
• 2-30 hours during BURN2 events
